Since the 1980’s, ABD Development has emerged as Central Florida’s leading custom builder of luxury homes in Orlando, setting trends and standards in the home building industry and crafting a legacy of award winning excellence in the area’s most prestigious neighborhoods.

Our unwavering commitment to excellence has helped us build an outstanding reputation with our customers and within the industry, earning us the honor of being named Central Florida’s Custom Homebuilder of the Year five times by the Orlando Business Journal.

As a consistent winner in the Orlando Parade of Homes, we have also received awards from the Home Builders Association of Mid-Florida, including the Grand Award for Custom Builder of the Year and four MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) awards for the Vizcaya and Aurora models, including the Grand Award for Best Selling Single Family Home in a twelve state region for the Case Maderia estate home. President

Yuval Botansky began serving as President of ABD Development Company in 2012 after managing numerous major infrastructure projects in Israel and developing several large resorts in the Turks and Caicos Islands and Jamaica.

Yuval brings many years of experience to build upon David Kohn’s vision of ABD Development as Central Florida’s leading luxury home builder and community developer. He holds his Masters Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Construction Management and Structural Engineering.

Since opening its doors, ABD has developed over a dozen communities and built more than 1,500 new homes. Today, the firm posts annual revenues that average more than $100 million.

Since 1991, ABD Development has been recognized more than 30 times with local, regional, and national awards for excellence in planning, design, construction, and marketing.

Founder

David Kohn earned his B.S.C.E. Degree from the Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1980. In 1981, Mr. Kohn earned his Florida General Contractor’s License.

In 1991, Mr. Kohn was a founding principal of ABD Development, Inc., in Orlando, and served as President of the firm until 2012.
