ORLANDO, FL (December 1, 2006) — ABD Development Co., Central Florida’s leading custom homebuilder and residential community developer, has broken ground at three new property locations within Providence, an elite master-planned community in northeastern Polk County, complete with upscale single and multi-family residences, a pristine 18-hole championship golf course, abundant wildlife conservation areas and staffed gated entry.

“It’s exciting to see our master-planned community come out of the ground and take shape,” said ABD Development Co. founder David Kohn. “Our community plans are going according to schedule, and our home sales are meeting our expectations. Providence is quickly becoming the place to live and play in northeast Polk County.”

The developer has initiated construction of its residence models at Lakeside Villas, the townhome section of Providence, and expects to have the models completed within six to seven months. Construction on Heritage Green, ABD’s single family residence in the community, has also begun. Of the 172 lots available with either conservation area views, pond views or front nine golf course views, ABD has already sold 35 percent to homebuyers.ABD is also moving dirt and beginning construction on the Providence Golf Course clubhouse and community center. Slated for completion in March 2007, the clubhouse has a restaurant portion as part of the plans. The fitness and aquatic center complete with a resort and lap pool for the community residents and their guests, is also slated for completion in the spring of 2007. The first nine holes of the Providence Golf Club are opening soon and will be ready for play, with the back nine to be completed next summer.

ABD Development Co. is Central Florida’s leading custom homebuilder and residential community developer, raising the bar for craftsmanship, style and unparalleled design. Since the 1980’s, ABD has been involved with the creation of numerous prestigious neighborhoods including Belmere, The Reserve at Belmere, Stoneybrook, Metro West, Magnolia Park, Phillips Landing, Lafayette Club, Bristol Park and Wingfield Reserve. ABD is also currently developing Vizcaya, a Mediterranean-style 85-acre village in Southwest Orlando; Windsor Landing, a new residential community inside Wyndham Lakes in Southeast Orlando; and Toscana, a new residential community planned in Palm Coast, FL. Providence recently won two first place awards in the 2006 Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Orlando Parade of Homes competition. Additional homebuilders involved at Providence include Inland Homes, Meritage Homes, Lennar Homes and Contempo Signature Homes.

The leadership of founder David Kohn has been a major factor in ABD’s continued success. Kohn personally oversees all aspects of the building process to ensure quality control, value, and reliability.
